Ditch the office: Unexpected jobs you can do online

Working from home

If we thought 2020 was weird, there’s no indication to suggest that 2021 will get any better.

The world continues to be shutdown because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and many people are looking for alternative ways to make money.

The best way, of course, is to generate an income working from home, that is way online jobs are becoming highly sought after. But here’s the good thing: they can be found in some seriously unexpected places.

The casino industry is one of these places. The number of different jobs a casino operating online is offering might be really surprising for you, and many of them can be done from the comfort of your own home.

A BusinessWire report found that this industry is set to grow at an incredible rate in the next year. In just a year, the value of this industry increased from $58.9 billion to $66.7 billion – that’s 13.2%!

Wouldn’t you want to work somewhere that’s fast-paced and engaging?

Roles available include online croupiers, who are the people staffing tables, to SEO specialists, content writers and marketers.

Customer support agents are also in demand, and most of them work from home! You’d think that a lot of these folk would be crammed into office blocks, but it’s not true. If you have a good internet connection and the ability to help, you could find yourself working from home as a customer service agent.

Social media managers and copywriters are another couple of jobs you can do from home. Every business and organisation need a solid social media manager to help them reach new audiences and engage their current one, while copywriters are valuable tools.

Copywriters can help get your business across Google, boost organic search results, and get your side of the story across to your key stakeholders in a coherent, vibrant and engaging way.

There are many ways you can make money online, especially as the world has shifted from a physical world to a virtual one. The good thing is, working from home is not just limited to a particular skill set.

We have seen that anyone from a customer service agent to a talented SEO copywriter can find employment across the globe, while anyone with experience with casino operators will also find themselves in the land of opportunity.
