5 Gadgets to modernize your vehicle

car modernisation

Are you driving around in an old clunker that needs a makeover? Do you have a vehicle that looks fine, but could be improved with the right parts and gadgets?

Either way, there are dozens of great options to help you boost your car’s value and bring it into the 21st century.

Not only that, but many of these gadgets can improve your car’s safety, appearance, and performance — all at the same time! So, let’s take a look at 5 gadgets to modernize your vehicle!

Front Brake Kit

It may not sound like the “sexiest” gadget on this list, but a high-quality front brake kit is a great addition to just about any vehicle. This is especially true if you do any off-roading or similar activities that put a lot of strain on your brake system. While you’ll need to buy a front brake kit that works with the make and model of your particular vehicle, F150 Brembo Brakes are a great option for Ford truck owners to cite one example.

Dash Cam

Much like brake kits, dash cams actually serve a practical purpose. If you get in a wreck (or are witness to a wreck), a dash cam ensures that a video of the event is saved. This can help insurance providers determine who was at fault and pay for damages as needed. Additionally, a dash cam provides a great way to document a road trip. Without one, you might forget some of the amazing sites when the trip is over!

HUD Display

Few things will make you feel like you’re living in the future like a high-quality HUD display. In essence, you can use these projected light displays on your windshield to get directions, check the gas, change music, control the A/C, and dozens of other hands-free actions. HUD displays also get rid of the need to look away from the road, thereby enhancing driving safety in the process.

USB Charger Port

This is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to bring your vehicle into the 21st century. Though USB charging may not be relevant 10 years from now, it is still the primary method by which we charge our devices. Simply adding a removable USB charger port to the cigarette lighter in your vehicle can allow you to charge multiple devices at once. As an added bonus, you can usually pick these up from a major retailer for less than $10!

Wireless Tire Pressure Monitor

Here is yet another practical addition to your vehicle that can save you time and money, while also making your vehicle safer. As the name implies, a wireless tire pressure monitor keeps track of the air pressure in all of your tires so that you don’t have to worry about it. Typically, these Bluetooth monitors attach to your tires’ inlet valves to let you know when any of your tires’ pressure starts getting too low. You can even download an app on your phone to keep track of your tire pressure while you’re on the go!
